 The natural-gas powered Civic GX is powered by the "cleanest internal combustion engine on earth," a description offered by the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) at its introduction.
The GX was the first vehicle to earn Advanced Technology Partial Zero Emissions Vehicle (AT-PZEV) status in California and boasts a continuously variable transmission that adds to its range and fuel efficiency.
After five years as a model successfully aimed at fleets, the Civic GX is being introduced to consumers in the near future with a convenient and easy-to-install home refueling system.
